Ideas to Celebrate St. Paddy's Day

You know the saying: everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. Well, the same applies to the celebration: all are welcome and there’s something for everyone. From food to drinks to charming décor, we have tips on how to easily throw a memorable get-together that beats cramming into a crowded bar. With any luck, you’ll be the go-to host for St. Paddy’s Day for years to come! Here’s how to make your party extra magical…

Give It The Green Light

Make your guests a mouth-watering cocktail in the color of the season. This super-easy concoction combines a margarita-flavored malt beverage with a scoop of lime sherbet. We topped it off with gold sprinkles for a little extra glam. Serve it in a cocktail glass with a slice of lime and you’re all set!

Go green with your décor, including lush floral arrangements and a few shamrocks sprinkled throughout. Mix it up with a wee bit of gold, like these mini gold coins you can spread around your tables. Serve your food and drinks with striped green straws and green napkins to tie the entire theme together.

Bring On The Beer

We know you know, but we have to say it any way: beer is a must. You can’t celebrate St. Paddy’s Day without this go-to staple. Have a few different brands handy, including classic favorites and lighter beers that are easier to drink.

Our Tuscany Classics Assorted Beer Set is perfect for each type of beer. Every set includes a pint glass, IPA glass, wheat beer glass and pilsner glass. And did we mention they are completely dishwasher safe? That’ll come in handy at the end of the night, when you should be kicking up your feet instead of hovering over the sink!

Chase Rainbows

Somewhere over the kitchen, a grazing board awaits. Pile on the fruits and veggies to make a colorful rainbow at the center. Pick up a heart cookie cutter to easily create clover shaped bread for mixing and dipping.

For plates, we used our Profile dinnerware as the perfect white base. We love our Gold Imperial Caviar flatware for a little extra glow, but sterling silver will do just fine, too. Throw in a few coins in our Profile bowls and you’ve got your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
